Hi all,

I have just discovered neptune354 and I would be keen to run it on my router, however I'm a little unsure where to start.

I ran Linux on a few machines, so I know how to configure IPtables, Dnsmasq etc. But what is the process for installing Neptune354? To I just do a firmware upgrade to the lateset .bin file? After that are their "sane" settings, a web interface - or do I have to configure everything manually from the command line? I don't mind doing this, but how will I know where to look?

I'm sure their must be a guide covering this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. If you can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

cjp

Hi cjp. The firmware based on Neptune354 Project is available in two precompiled versions for WAG354G V1 and WAG354G V2 hardware (and others) AnnexA and AnnexB.
If you have the V1 version download from here: http://cyberstorm.altervista.org/?page_id=24
If the V2 from here: http://www.esnips.com/web/Configurazion ... 2/?flush=1
The firmware has a http interface as usual and a telnet or ssh access to the router with a shell command.
You can make the upgrade from the http interface of your router as usual: http://192.168.1.1/Upgrade.asp
