Ijust successfully flashed my WAG354G V2 Annex A with Neptune254 and very excited by the possibilities.

I am able to telnet in, but ssh isn't working for me - when I try and connect with PuTTY I just get a Connection refused error. I guess as long as I'm only able to connect via telnet from the LAN it doesn't really matter.

I was wondering if anyone here had managed to get any cron stuff working? I'm wanting to write a script that checks to see if wireless is frozen up (something my WAG254G does frequently) and if so restarts wireless. I want to use cron to run this every five minutes or so. crontab -e doesn't seem to work. There is no crontab file in /etc. Anyone got any pointers on how to do this?

Thanks for all your hard work!

Duncan

in order to enable ssh you have to:
1)In administation page enable ssh daemon and mount rw partition at boot.
2)Format rw partition and generate private key from Administration->utilities.

About cron, the folder to store crontabs is /tmp/cron.d/

as /tmp is mounted on ram, so at every reboot content is deleted.

So u have to create the file in /mnt partition that is rw and can store files. remember to umount to effectively save the files created.
then create a script /mnt/script.sh that at boot copies the crontab file in the cron.d folder.

Read the other post in the forum and u will get more infos.
