Hi, Is WPA support done entirely in software using WPA supplicant? Does this mean that it's possible to provide WPA2 support with the right software? Perhaps the platform is not powerful enough to handle WPA2 but it would be a great if it was supported.

wpa is done by hardware in linksys firmare. wpa2 is not possible on V1 hardware, as it uses a tnetw1130 chipset that cannot handle wpa2. wpa2 is instead surely possible in V2 hardware, as it is very similar to the wag200g router, that has wpa2. The first step would be to build a wag200g image for the wag354g v2, just to be sure that hardware can do wpa2. The next would be to import the wpa2 part to neptune. Anyway I dont have a v2 version, so this should be done by someone else.
cheers
