Can you add this feature? Or maybe you should add wds. It would be great to be able to connect ethernet devices to a wireless network :D

wds is really hard, i dont think
client mode depends if i'm able to build wireless tools, and if drivers supports linux wireless extensions... we'll see!

Yes, I was looking for this feature, too. WDS would be ideal, client mode a turnaround for the problem of comunicating with other APs....

Let me add another vote!

From what I've read (I'm not an expert!) this would let me use my 354 (v2) as a range-extender for an existing wireless network. That would be great.

sorry i dont think this will be possible, unless someone will go through the driver source code and add the client mode.

to all others - using OpenWRT can make it a client rather easy - there is better wlan driver manipulation i OpenWRT...
